Linking public and private breeding for perennial grass improvement

Abstract  There is a challenge before us to restructure our industry to create an effective system of plant improvement which will benefit the industry as a whole. This paper attempts to provide an insight into the private sector's view as well as to stimulate further discussion on the topic of linking public and private breeding.
