Nymphoides geminata (R. Br.) Kuntze in New Zealand

Abstract Nymphoides geminata (R. Br.) Kuntze (Menyanthaceae), a stoloniferous floating-leaved hydrophyte is reported present in New Zealand. This is the only known representative of this adventive genus in the country. Identifying fea- tures of the plant, its field occurrence, and potential for further spread are discussed.
