    Honouring and encouraging outstanding achievement in the sciences, technologies and humanities and supporting the activities of the Royal Society of New Zealand.

  • Advisory Panels, Expert Panels and Committees

    Panels and Committees have been established to enable Council and Management to respond to rapidly changing concerns or emerging issues.

  • Royal Society of New Zealand Council

    The Council has a governance role within the Society and consists of the President and Councillors elected, appointed or co-opted.

  • International Connections

    On behalf of the New Zealand research base, we administer a range of funds for international research collaboration. We also have representatives on more than 30 international scientific unions and have bi-lateral agreements with several countries.

  • Donations & Bequests

    The Royal Society of New Zealand has an Endowment Fund to manage donations and bequests from private individuals which will help us with our work.
