Biographical Information
Ian Reid MD is Professor of Medicine and Endocrinology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research interests include the pathogenesis and management of osteoporosis, primary hyperparathyroidism & Paget’s disease, and his research group has been active in the identification of novel regulators of bone cell function. He is President-Elect of the International Bone and Mineral Society, and Secretary of the Asian Pacific Osteoporosis Foundation.
