This case study report was conceptualised after the 2005 Symposium on Promoting Maori and Pasifika into health, science, and technology. It investigates programmes and initiatives that encourage and support Maori and Pasifika into science and technology, health and engineering education.
Participation in Tertiary Science and Technology Education
This report was conducted in 2006. It provides an accurate indication of student participation in science and technology education at Universities throughout New Zealand in 2005. It also compares the 2005 participation rates with those of 2004. It is a continuation and expansion on the previous study conducted in 2005 which provided a baseline for future comparisons.
