This award is an honorary title bestowed on suitable persons who have provided distinguished service to the humanities-aronui. It is an annual award that recognises contributory and dedicated service to the humanities-aronui over a sustained period.
Nominations are now being called for the 2013 Pou Aronui Award. The closing date for nomination is 30 June 2013.
