Jones Medal (Front)The Jones Medal is awarded biennially, for lifetime achievement in pure or applied mathematics or statistics by a person with substantial connections to New Zealand.

The Jones Medal is accompanied by a prize of NZ$5,000 awarded by the NZ Mathematics Research Institute (Inc.)

The Call for Nominations for the 2016 Jones Medal is now open. The closing date is 30 June 2016.
