The Cambridge Commonwealth Trust jointly sponsors the PhD scholarships to the University of Cambridge. In addition, this year, the Cavendish Laboratory is sponsoring an additional physics scholar to study in the same laboratory as did Lord Rutherford.

These scholars begin in Sept 2010.
