The Bilateral Research Activities Programme (BRAP) was established in 1994 and is a part of the International Science and Technology (ISAT) Linkages Fund of the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology. BRAP is a Government funded programme designed to support international science and technology links between New Zealand and the world except Spain and Germany.

BRAP objectives here

Separately, the BRAP programme also supports the STC Agreement signed in 1977 between the Governments of New Zealand and the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) to foster closer co-operation in science and technology between the two countries.

Applications are welcome from researchers and technologists wishing to establish or enhance collaborative projects with their German counterparts.
