New Zealand Journal of Geology and Geophysics

An international journal of Pacific Rim Geosciences

Abstracts

Description

NEW ZEALAND IS ONE OF THE BEST COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD for displaying a number of modern geologic processes that can be studied for application in other places. As a Pacific Rim country, with a long history of geoscience investigation, it is well respected for its growing activities in circumpacific earth science.

New Zealand Journal of Geology and Geophysics - an international journal of Pacific Rim Geosciences - has been a part of that activity for 50 years. The journal publishes original research papers on all aspects of the earth sciences relevant to New Zealand, the Pacific, and Antarctica. Its role is to make that research accessible and applicable to geoscientists everywhere whose interests lie within and beyond the circumpacific area.
