He Pito Mata 2023

Two-day event for early career researcher community on 18-19 April 2023 at Te Papa.

The Early Career Researcher Forum Aotearoa will host a two-day event for researchers early in their careers. The Forum seeks to represent the national voice of New Zealand’s early career researcher community and celebrate their achievements and contributions. This year’s gathering follows on from a successful event in 2021, which was attended by over 250 delegates, and will offer a platform to amplify the kōrero of researchers at the early stages of their careers. The two-day gathering will link and weave together kaikōrero (speakers), 'on the couch' discussions, Q&A panels, meet and greet sessions, and professional development opportunities with some great kai!

Note that numbers will be limited! This is a fully funded and sponsored hui - there is no charge to attend. Attendees will need to cover their own transport and accommodation; however, research organisations are encouraged to support their early career researchers to attend.

Follow us on EventBrite to be notified when more programme details and registrations go live.  We anticipate this will be at the end of February 2023.
