Foundations of Sustainability workshop | Auckland
The calls for new ways of constructing our cities to be responsive to changes afoot are loud and getting louder.
Climate change, national policy shifts, increasing urban populations, aging infrastructure and global pressure are amongst the drivers that built environment professionals in New Zealand need to understand and navigate in their everyday work. We know we can’t apply the logic of the past to create our cities of the future so even the most experienced engineers, architects, planners and scientists are recognizing the need to learn new ways of approaching their work.
The Foundations of Sustainability workshop is focused on supporting that learning for built environment practitioners. It is not a tick in the box solution (those don’t exist), it is an opportunity to explore some of the principles of sustainability that underpin the changes that are being called for in New Zealand. Whether you have been doing this work for two months or twenty years, this workshop will hone your ability to respond adaptively to the opportunities ahead.
