Expanding your knowledge of the human gut microbiome through the context of the highly publicised Gut Bugs trial and the TV Three “The Good Sh*t” documentary series.

The Liggins Institute at the University of Auckland is hosting professional development workshops in Auckland and Wellington for science teachers - and all others - interested in expanding their knowledge of the human gut microbiome through the context of the highly publicised Gut Bugs trial, and the TV Three “The Good Sh*t” documentary series. 

 

The one-day workshop, partnered with an online learning course, will provide an overview of the human microbiome, the Gut Bugs clinical trial, and new learning resources that have been developed by the Liggins Education Network for Science (LENScience).

 

Cost: Teachers $150 (GST incl.), Student Teachers $75 (GST incl.)

 

Morning tea and lunch will be served, as well as coffee and tea.
