A festival of innovation that’s good for the world
Techweek celebrates New Zealand’s fast growing technology and innovation sectors and raises awareness of the need for greater ICT skills and a "tech-savvy" culture for everyone.
Techweek NZ provides a useful context for meeting the intent of The New Zealand Curriculum.
Students can:
- demonstrate the curriculum vision of being actively connected, lifelong learners by seizing opportunities offered by new technologies
- explore the future focused issue of enterprise
- consider the NZC values of innovation, inquiry, and curiosity
- make use of key competencies
- achieve learning outcomes in a range of learning areas, especially technology.
