The Teachers Day Out
Hawke's Bay | 6 November
Teachers’ Day Out 2018 is a fully funded professional development day for secondary school teachers and will be hosted at six locations throughout New Zealand.
The day is about showcasing careers across New Zealand's food production industry.
Teachers will be able to take a closer look at the science, technology and commerce involved in ensuring New Zealand continues to produce premium quality food for New Zealand and the world and to:
- see some innovative technology;
- taste some delicious food;
- hear how more young people are needed in this industry and
- leave with a resource kit.
Teachers will have the chance to visit a range of businesses in the industry from large scale international companies to small localized boutique food producers.
Register by sending an email with the teacher's name, email, subject taught, school and their cellphone number.
Spaces are limited, so RSVP for the event in your region now!
