For Food Technology teachers of Year 7 and 8 students
The Heart Foundation and Vegetables.co.nz have developed a free one day Professional Development Seminar for Year 7 & 8 Foods teachers in Wellington, Hawkes Bay, New Plymouth, Palmerston North & Gisborne.
The sessions are free but spaces are limited.
The programme includes:
- Introduction to The Educator – finding resources easily
- Year 7 food technology unit plan, by teachers for teachers
- Easy meals with vegetables videos and food skill cards
- Updates on food topics
- Sugar, fats, salt and more
- Allergies and intolerances
- Cooking demonstration
