These hands-on activities, from GNS, require the use of everyday materials to design, create and test a structure that can protect an area from a natural hazard.
They are tried and tested problem solving activities, suitable for 10 - 14 year old students (or even older) that can be part of a course on geology (erosion processes) or hydrology.
