An expert commentary from Dame Lowell Goddard QC, Ngāti Kahungunu, Te Aitanga-a-Māhaki, Ngāi Tūhoe.

Dame Lowell Goddard was a Judge of the High Court from 1995 to 2015 and has served as Deputy Solicitor-General for New Zealand.

She is Co-chair of Te Tapeke Fair Futures, the panel convened by Royal Society Te Apārangi to examine issues of fairness, equity and equality in Aotearoa New Zealand.
