Vision and leadership for the Society
The Royal Society Te Apārangi is currently seeking a Tumuaki President to lead its Council, oversee governance, and advance its long-term strategy from 1 July 2027.
The Society invites candidates who bring recognised mana in the research sector, strong governance experience, and strategic leadership skills. The President is normally a Fellow of the Society, although other outstanding candidates will be considered.
Once appointed, the President-elect will work alongside our current President to ensure a seamless succession.
