In this presentation, Professor Charles Eason traverses R&D experience and innovation in multinationals, universities, CRIs, SMEs, Cawthron Institute and Wakatū-AuOra, focused on the development of new medicines, natural health products and biocides. He concludes with a rationale for attracting greater diversity, which includes creating more research opportunities within Māori entities, covering their own R&D in partnership with the current science system in Aotearoa.
