This year is the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Marsden Fund Te Pūtea Rangahau a Marsden. We have been able to both reflect on the enormous impact the Fund has had on promoting excellent investigator-led research in Aotearoa over that period, and also celebrated many of the individual and collective research successes that underlie that impact.

We looked to the rohe regions to present a series of 25 talks and profiles of the Fund researchers . It gave us an opportunity to connect our work programme and research with hapori communities all from Whangārei to Invercargill.  Ngā mihi maioha for all the manaakitanga we received around Aotearoa.

This year’s Update includes a special feature, Ka mua, ka muri: looking back in order to move forward, which takes a glimpse at a small selection of the excellent research and researchers supported by the Fund over the twenty-five years.

Printed copies will be available at the end of May.
