Nitrous oxide (or ‘laughing gas’) is an agricultural greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change. Cecile’s research focuses on understanding the causes of nitrous oxide emissions from livestock systems, with the aim of developing animal, soil, and plant solutions. New Zealand has global obligations to reduce nitrous oxide emissions.
