Rohan Ameratunga: Primary immunodeficiencies
Symptoms of immunodeficiency can include recurrent infections and autoimmune complications. Rohan will describe genetic defects of the immune system, with a focus on Common Variable Immunodeficiency Disorders. His contributions include two long-term nationwide cohort studies of antibody deficiency, discovery of new genetic disorders, and development of diagnostic criteria to guide treatment.
