The Hamilton Award (formerly called the Hamilton Memorial Prize) is awarded annually for the encouragement of early-career researchers currently based in New Zealand for scientific research in New Zealand. The Award consists of a framed certificate and $2,500. This prize is associated with the Hamilton Lecture every third year.
